Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source purchase order for the NCIS to purchase Internet Service For Tech Service for the NCIS Technical Services Division (TSD) from COMCAST CORP; One Comcast Center 1701, John F. Kennedy Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19103. The agency’s requirement is to renew the Maintenance for: Internet Service For Tech Service for the NCIS Office located at 27130 Telegraph Rd, Quantico, VA 22134-2253. Back in FY-2012 NCIS Technical Services Division (TSD) started to utilize more IP videos on the internet, and NCIS started out with 5 Static IP Address, and after two months it grew to 13 Static IP Address, and the cost got to be too much for my Government purchase card. NCIS purchased 13 more Static IP address from Comcast and one more modem for the Static IP address that were purchased. Static IP address means that about 6 to 9 numbers that your give a device like setting up your computer at home, and the company will give your this number so that you can hook up to your internet service. The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) Technical Services Division (TSD) would like to obtain option Years for FY-14 and FY -15 for Mainatence and Support of the Static IP addresses. Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) Technical Services Division (TSD) would like to get Option Years for FY-14 and FY-15. NCIS Technical Services Division (TSD) is currently requesting 13 more Static IP address from Comcast and another modem for the additional 13 Static IP address. Comcast is the only service that can give us what we need, and also they are the only company that can run their lines in Russell Knox Building (RKB). We need this service up and running on the 2nd of January 2013 so that we can do test to make sure that everything will work. Please review attachments
