NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE BOA CALL: The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) Medium Recovery Range (MRR) intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation under BOA SPRPA1-11-G-001Y for the Cover (P/N 70204-21003-136). The statutory authority for this acquisition is 10 U.S.C 2304(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (b) (1) (ii), the Covers are available from only one or a limited number of sources who were previously contacted to request a quote but did not respond. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336413 with a size standard of 1000 Employees. The small business set aside has been dissolved. This requirement is unrestricted. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm that believes it can meet the specifications above may give written notification to the point of contact below no later than 12:00 P.M., (EST) on 23 March 2015. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
