This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
This solicitation, FA5209-12-T-0057, is issued as a request for quote. Submit only written offers; oral offers will not be accepted. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) http://www.bpn.gov/. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial items: paragraph (a) add, The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers:
•1. Price: The price evaluation will be made on the basis of the total price of the
item listed.
•2. Technical Acceptability: Technical Acceptability is achieved as "met" when
the quoted products meet the item descriptions in the Government minimum characteristic item information within CLIN 0001.
•3. Delivery Schedule: Delivery date is acceptable when the offeror provides the
product within the delivery schedule stated in the solicitation.
