The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, MEC Product Line, has a requirement for the purchase of Garbage Macerators, Muffin Monster Grinder P/N 30001-0012, in support of USCG Medium Endurance Cutters. It is anticipated that a non-competitive, fixed price, sole source contract will be awarded to JWC Environmental, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), or one of their authorized distributors for this equipment. It is the Government's belief that only JWC Environmental possesses the required capabilities to successfully manufacture these Muffin Monster Grinders and can insure compatibility with existing onboard equipment and conformity to the OEM design and material requirements as well as compliance with all Maritime Environmental Laws for discharging food waste overboard while cutters are deployed. NOTE: NO DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS OR SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY!! The U.S. Coast Guard does NOT possess the data rights to the specifications, drawings or other technical data. All data, specifications, and drawings are proprietary to JWC Environmental. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate only with JWC Environmental or their authorized distributors. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to furnish the items are invited to submit complete and current information discussing their capabilities within 10 calendar days from the date this notice is posted. The following information must be provided and must include sufficient detail to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the acceptability of the offered system and components: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional characteristics) , 2) Data to confirm that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the OEM, or 3) Evidence that you are an authorized distributor of this equipment for JWC Environmental. This is not a Request for Proposals; therefore, no pricing information shall be submitted at this time.
