***NOAA's Acquisition & Grants Office, Western Acquisition Division-Boulder, intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), with Del Tools Inc. dba EN-SCI Corporation (EN, SCI) of Boulder, Colorado for the purchase of ozonesondes.

***The Sole determination is based on the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) requirement for ozonesondes which will meet the requirements in both the measurement of ozone and ability to communicate with established ground station infrastructure operated by the Global Monitoring Division, NOAA / Earth System Research Laboratory. EN-SCI is the only vendor that offers an ozonesonde with a compatible interface board that meets NOAA's technical requirements. Delivery date shall be April 11, 2010.
