Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo Texas, requires a contract for the IHS Jane's unclassified database subscription at Goodfellow AFB, TX. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2) "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements", the Government intends to award a sole-source contract (Solicitation# FA3030-14-R-0009) for a 2 year IHS Jane's database subscription, period of performance, June 2014-June 2016, to IHS Global Inc., 1505 Inverness Way, Englewood, CO 80112. IHS Global Inc., has been identified as the only source that can satisfy the agency's needs within the required time. The requirement will be solicited and evaluated under procedures of FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511210, the size standard is $35,500,000. The anticipated subscription period is June 2014 to June 2016, one (1) base year (June 2014-June 2015) with a one-year (1) option period. However, there is no guarantee that the option period will be exercised. The government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract.
