This is for informational purposes only. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to purchase, on a sole source basis, Phosgene-Albumin Adduct Peptides, 2 mg, from The Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO); Rijswijk, Netherlands.

This is a notice of intent and not a request for proposals. The Native Peptide was procured from TNC recently and in order to maintain continuity of the work, an isotopically-labeled Peptide is required. TNO is the only group that has successfully synthesized this peptide. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested parties may identify their interests and capabilities to respond to this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The NAICS Code is 325414. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information furnished shall include enough detailed information to allow the Government to perform a proper evaluation. Respondents will not be notified of evaluation results. Responses by Facsimile (FAX) will not be accepted. All vendors/prospective contractors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to the award date. If not registered or active by that date, vendor proposals will be considered non-responsive. The receipt of proposals shall be within 15 days after the date of publication of this synopsis.
