The Pacific Regional Contracting Office (PRCO) at Tripler AMC, Hawaii intends to award a firm-fixed price, non-personal service contract for Abbott Cell Dyne 1700 Hematology Analyzer maintenance services at MEDDAC-Korea. This requirement is for a one-year base period from 01 March 2010 through 28 February 2011 and 4 one-year option periods.

Required services include but are not limited to the update, maintenance, and repair of 5 Cell Dyne 1700 Hemotology Analyzers.

The proposed acquisition is intended as a sole source set-aside to Abbott Laboratories Korea. It is not possible to find a vendor that has the required training, capability, and expertise to service the specific model of equipment located in Korea. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
