This solicitation is to provide all requirements listed under the New York State Department of Health for the testing and commissioning the Varian model Clinac iX Medical Linear Accelerator in accordance with American Association of Physicists in Medicine recommendations including but not limited to: Mechanical/Functional testing of: Isocenter, couch, gantry, collimators, position indicators & lasers, pointer, trays, wedges, table clamps, table accessory rails, Portal Vision robotic arm, and control pendants. Physics testing of: All photon beams, all electron beams, flatness & symmetry of beams, beam & light field congruence/coincidence, dose rate accuracy, reproducibility of dose, field size factors, constancy vs. gantry angle, wedge factors, and tray transmission factors. Commissioning of: Clinac iX with IMRT, Eclipse Treatment Planning System and Digitizer for all possible IMRT treatments and ARIA record and verify (patient info) system.
