The Department of Veterans Affairs, Northern California Healthcare System, plans to issue a competitive award for Basic Life Support training, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support training, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support training at VA Clinics in the following locations in Northern California: Mather, Martinez, Redding and Chico. The contractor shall be required to provide all labor, equipment, materials, travel and transportation necessary to provide these services. For BLS and ACLS training, each instructor must show they possess a current American Heart Association ACLS Instructor Card and ACLS Provider card, a current AHA BLS Instructor Card, Core Competency AHA Instructor Completion Certificate and their 2011 AHA guidelines Certificate. For PALS training, each instructor must show they have a current American Heart Association PALS Instructor Card, a PALS Provider card; their Core Competency AHA Instructor Completion Certificate and their 2011 AHA guidelines Certificate.
