The Department of Veterans Affairs, Ann Arbor Healthcare System, intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Brown Chapel Adult Day Center, 1043 W. Michigan Ave., Ypsilanti, Michigan, 48197. The proposed basic ordering agreement is for adult day health care services to be furnished to beneficiaries for whom such care is specifically authorized by the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2). All FAR provisions and clauses may be reviewed and/or obtained from the General Service Internet address: http//www.arnet.gov/far. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses received, will be made entirely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
