The VISN 9 Acquisition Service Center, 3400 Lebanon Pike, Murfreesboro, Tennessee intends to award a sole source consignment contract for a one year period to Lifecell Corporation, One Millennium Way, Branchburg, New Jersey 08876. Lifecell will provide multiple medical centers within VISN 9 with various sizes of Alloderm Mesh under this consignment agreement. The subject mesh shall remain the property of the contractor throughout the contract term, until such time as it is implanted. The cost shall include all shipping and handling, normal rotation of stock by the contactor to prevent outdating; and a monthly inventory of available mesh, which will be provided to the Government. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 339113 applies to this procurement. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their intent and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. No solicitation will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received on or before 3:00 P.M., EST, December 12, 2007 will be considered by the Government. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. This agreement is being conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.501 test program using simplified acquisition procedures. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The anticipated award date is December 31, 2007. This sole source consignment agreement in under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(5) and 38 U.S.C. 8123. Faxed or telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
