This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE only. Responses to this notice will be used for information and planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. This notice shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. Contractor shall provide to the VAGCVHCS services for pick-up, cleaning, inspection, reissuance, maintenance and delivery of Government-owned Durable Medical Equipment (DME). This notice is to obtain possible sources that have the capacity and capability to have contractor furnished delivery of "Government Owned" home care Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and/or accessories necessary to eligible beneficiaries under the jurisdiction of the Prosthetics and Sensory Aids Service (P&SAS). Requirement will require pick-up/delivery of equipment in the homes of beneficiaries or other designated points in accordance with Standards established by the Joint Commission for Home Care. The purchase of DME is "NOT" part of this contract. Contractor shall also be able to provide storage/warehouse for a small inventory, etc. Offeror's response to this Notice shall be limited to 10 pages and shall include the following information: " Offeror's company name, DUNS, address, point of contact, title, phone number, and email address " Offeror's interest in bidding on the solicitation when it is issued " Offeror's capability to meet this requirement including any current contracts (Civilian or Government) including meeting JC standards. " Offeror's type of business (small or large) and socioeconomic status whether Service Disable Veteran Owned, Veteran Owned, Hubzone, 8(a), Woman Owned, Small Disadvantaged, etc The NAICS code is 621610, Home Health Care Services, (size standard of $13.5 million). All interested parties are reminded to be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov in order to be eligible for award of Government contracts.
