The Contractor shall provide geriatric dentistry services that includes impressions, jaw relations, denture try-in, and delivery of the completed prostheses. The Contractor shall provide materials and equipment. The Contractor shall fabricate complete dentures on edentulous patients or partial edentulous identified by data for deferred services, including the waiting list kept in the Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility Dental Department, Chinle, Arizona. Duties include Review patients dental records including the medical history and examination/treatment plan. Discuss treatment with patients and answer questions; Review and diagnose the treatment to see if patient will need full denture or partials; Administer local anesthetic to areas in the mouth to make treatment comfortable for patients; Provide oral health instructions to patients; Complete the necessary PCC forms and progress notes at the end of the appointment.
