This is a sources sought announcement only! This is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources such as service disabled veteran-owned business, veteran owned business, women-owned small business, 8(a), HubZone, small disadvantage, etc. relative to NAICS 624229, size standard $7.0M. Responses will be used to determine appropriate acquisition decisions. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Central Alabama Veterans Healthcare Services (CAVHCS), 215 Perry Hill Rd, Montgomery AL 36109, is seeking sources for a potential contract to provide Halfway House Services for eligible veterans referred from the CAVHCS VA Medical Center. The contractor's facility must be within 15 miles of the CAVHCS. The contractor's facility must also be located within .50 miles from access to the Public Transit System. The intended contract is anticipated as a one base year of, with four (4) one year option period. Note that this requirement mandates that a contractor be able to pass inspection prior to proposal submission. Responses to this source sought must include: 1.
