This is annual requirement for numerous laboratory reagents including the analyzer in support of Naval Hospital Oak Harbor, Oak Harbor, WA. Must be a single analyzer that does the following (no multiple units may be considered, we do not have the staffing to support multiple platforms):
a. Cardiac testing: CK, MMB, MYO, cTNI, and high sensitivity (hs)CRP
b. General Chemistry testing: CL, CO2 (enzymatic only), K, NA, ALB, BUN, CA, CHOL, CREA, GLU, PHOS, TBIL, TP, URCA, ALKP, DBIL, GGT, GOT(AST), GPT(ALT), LDH, TRIG, AMY, ALC, CRP, AHDL (no pretreatment), IRN, MG, IBCT (no pretreatment), CFP,
c. Immunochemistry testing: BHCG, TSH, and FreeT4
Must be no larger than 52 inches wide by 34 inches deep by 56 inches high to allow for placement in the chemistry section. There is a definite lack of space to allow anything larger.
Must be able to draw all samples from a single patient tube (mo multiple tubes needed). No need to split samples.
Must be able to run all necessary testing without sample pre-treatment (i.e HDL, Iron, and TIBC)
Must run on 110-volt standard power lines.
Independent and simultaneous immunoassay processing (can do both chemistry and Immunochemistry tests separately - while running them both at the same time â you donât have to wait for one to stop so the other can begin).
Lab defined panic values.
Auto rerun and auto dilution capabilities.
Must be able to self contain its waste in a system that will allow disposal in a landfill (i.e. a self-producing and sealing cuvette system).
Must be capable of handling various size bar code tubes and sample cups.
No reagent preparation.
Stores a minimum of 2 calibration curves for each analyte.
Installation and removal of equipment. Training of government personnel for operation of equipment. Minimal user maintenance, less than 5 minutes daily and 10 minutes once a week.
