The Social Security Administration (SSA) has a known requirement for a contractor to provide medical consultant services in the specialty of Pediatric Neurology. Services shall be performed ON-SITE at the SSA Headquartersâ facility in Woodlawn, MD. The files to be reviewed CANNOT leave the premises of the SSA Headquartersâ facility in Woodlawn, MD. Medical consultant services shall consist of the contractorâs review of SSA disability case files only; there shall be no contact with patients. Competitive pricing will be solicited and accepted. SSA anticipates awarding firm fixed-price, indefinite-quantity contracts with a period of performance consisting of a base year and provisions for an additional four one-year option periods. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) for this requirement is 621111 and the size standard for this code is $8.5M. This requirement is being set aside 100% for small business. This acquisition is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 regarding the acquisition of commercial items and FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items.
