The Northport VAMC is seeking a contractor that can provide WHEN Hours coverage for their Radiology Service. Readings will include, but not limited to CT, MRI, Ultrasound and General Radiology (all plain film exams including fluoroscopy and FI, GU). Contractor must be available to provide services Monday-Friday (4:30PM-8:00AM), weekends and holidays. Readings may be provided via PACS (teleradiology); however, contractor is expected to be onsite approximately 3-4 times a year. Timeliness requirements are as follows: " Pager Response Time - 15 minutes or less " Scheduled Procedure - 15 minutes or less from start time " Urgent Studies requiring radiologist presence - performed and interpreted from 12 to 24 hours from attending physician's request. VA anticipates the workload to be 2,726 RVUs per year. This will be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business Set-Aside. The contract period will run from the Date of Award through September 30, 2008 with one (1) one-year options for renewal. The applicable NAICS code is 621111.
