This is a notice of intent of the VA Maryland Health Care System to issue a sole source award to Wayne State University to provide Micronucleus Lab Studies. This procurement is being conducted under authority FAR 6.302-1. The authority cited and justification made is based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by services available from one source. The duties are outlined in the Statement of Work of the solicitation. The contract will be for one (1) year. NAICS code is 621511. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals, but, for information only and may represent the only official notice of such solicitation. The Government will consider all information received on or before April 8, 2009, 4:00PM EST. Information received shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government, and must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer (90C), VA Maryland Health Care System, PO Box 1000, Building 101b, Room 2, Perry Point, Maryland 21902-1000, to my attention.
