The National Hansen’s Disease Programs intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Orthopedic Surgeon Services to provide the following to patients with Hansen’s Disease at the National Hansen’s Disease Programs, Baton Rouge LA: Patient examinations, diagnostic and pre-op clinics, make recommendations for treatment of orthopedic problems, perform Orthopedic surgery and post-op follow ups as well as written reports and/or oral dictation. Physician visits shall be required two days each week and emergency calls. The Government anticipates awarding a three year contract. The RFP issue date is approximately August 6, 2004. It will be available at the Government website at www.fbo.gov under HHS, Health Resources and Services Administration, BPHC/National Hansen's Disease Programs, Posted Dates. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the site for amendments to the solicitation. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
