In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the VAMC in Washington DC intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Baxter Healthcare Corporation for peritoneal dialysis supplies and materials due to currently maintaining a system that is only compatible and interchangeable with the Baxter system only under the Nephrology Section of the Medical Service department. This is a notice of intent and is not for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation of a request for offers. No solicitation package is available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than March 2, 2009 @ 2:00PM, local time. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
