The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service (IHS) is soliciting proposals from interested firms in response to Request for Quotation (RFQ)-COM-07-13 to provide podiatry services for the Winnebago Service Unit, PHS Indian Hospital, Winnebago, Nebraska. The contractor will provide podiatry services 10 hours per week, 52 weeks per year as outlined in the Performance Work Statement. The Indian Health Service reserves the right to award either a single contract or multiple contracts as a result of this quotation. The IHS anticipates a fixed price type, non-personal service, performance based contract for (1) one base year plus (4) four option years. The contract(s) shall be awarded pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 37.4 Non-Personal Service Contract (10 U.S.C. 2304 and 41 U.S.C. 253), FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items (10 U.S.C. 2304(g) and 2305 and 41 U.S.C. 253(g) and 253a and 253b), FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items (Title VIII of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994 (Public Law 103-355)), and FAR Subpart 37.6, Performance-Based Contracts. The contract podiatrist shall be subject to a character investigation as required by Public Law 101-630, Indian Family Violence Prevention Act and Public Law 101-647, Crime Control Act. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business concerns. Prospective contractors may obtain a copy of RFQ-COM-07-13 when it is released on the Federal Business Opportunities web site.
