NOTICE OF INTENT

The New Mexico Veterans Affairs Health Care System (NMVAHCS), 1501 San Pedro Dr SE, Albuquerque, New Mexico intends to enter into a sole source Consignment Agreement with Medtronic Ave, 3850 Victoria St North, 129 Concord Rd, Shoreview, MN. Medtronic will provide consignment items which will be readily accessible to the NMVAHCS.

The agreement period will be for a twelve-month base period, with four (4) one (1) year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12, Commercial Items and Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation.

This requirement will be awarded on an unrestricted basis. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide these items. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; no solicitation document exists. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements must provide written notification to the Contracting Officer no later than September 5, 2005 by 4:00pm Mountain Time (faxes and telephones calls will NOT be accepted) to the following email address:

[email protected]. Information received will be considered solely within the discretion of the Government; there is no guarantee the Government will act on information submitted. If no responses are received, the NMVAHCS will proceed with the intended consignment agreement.

This posting should not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Funds may or may not become available to purchase these consignment items.
