The Department of Veteran Affairs, VAMC Hampton, intends to negotiate a sole source contract, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source. It is the Governments intent to award a sole source medical services contract for off-site (MOH's) dermatology services to University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Office of Contracts and Grants, 104 Airport Dr., STE 2200, Chapel Hill, NC 27599-5023. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responsible sources may identify their interest in this requirement or may submit a capability statement to the point of contact identified at this office. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous and is available to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the contract for dermatology services will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
