NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCURMENT: The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity proposes to award to FD Neurotechnologies, Inc., 6400 Baltimore National Pike, Catonsville, MD 21228, on a sole source basis, the services to per form immunohistochemical staining techniques developed by FD Neurotechnologies for processing rat brain tissue as part of an ongoing study by the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. Using the same source would assure reproducibility and compatibility of the results with previous tissues that have been processed. To select another source would result in lost time and resources in order to repeat initial studies for comparability. This procurement shall be under other and full and open competition pr ocedures in accordance with FAR 6.301-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.
