This is a simplified acquisition procedure/commercial item prepared under the test program for commercial items in accordance with FAR 13.5. FISC Norfolk Contracts Department, Philadelphia Division intends to acquire STAT Laboratory Tests services on a sole source basis with Newport Hospital in Newport, RI in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 and FAR 13.501(a). The Laboratory tests services will be performed at Naval Ambulatory Care Center, Newport, RI. Award of a Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated. The Government's obligation is contingentupon congress enacting FY06 appropriation. The NAICS is 541380 and the small busines size standard is $4M. The resultant contract performance period is 01 October 2005 through 30 September 2006. The requirements for testing are as follows: CPT 88173-Cytology Fluid; CPT 88304-Level III Surgical Pathology Gross & Microscopic Exam; CPT 88305-Level IV Surgical Pathology Gross & Microscopic Exam; CPT 88311-Decalcify Tissue; CPT 88312-Special Stains Group 1 Microorganisms; CPT 88313-Special Stains Group 2; CPT 88342-Immuohistochemistry; CPT 88346-Immunofluorescence Stains; Multiple Chemistry and Core STAT; Pap Smear, CPT 88142-Thin Prep Pap Smear by Cytotechnologist; CPT 88141-Pap Smear- Abnormal.
