NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Project Title: THYROSEQ TESTING: VISN 22 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 22, hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm-fixed-price contract for thyroseq testing, CPT code 81479. Seventh St Long Beach, CA 90822 VA Loma Linda Healthcare System 11201 Benton Street Loma Linda, CA 92357 VA San Diego Healthcare System 3350 La Jolla Village Drive San Diego, CA 92161 VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System 11301 Wilshire Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90073 VISN 22 East VA Albuquerque Healthcare System - 1501 San Pedro Dr SE Albuquerque, NM 87108 VA North Arizona Healthcare System - 500 AZ-89 Prescott, AZ 86301 VA Phoenix Healthcare System 650 E Indian School Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85012 VA Southern Arizona Healthcare System 3601 S 6th Ave. Tucson, AZ 85723 This sole source contracting action is pursuing a waiver from acquiring these services on a competitive basis pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) for the aforementioned requirement based on the application of FAR 6.302-3(a)(2)(ii). This hereby constitutes a synopsis of the action proposed in this announcement. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission or objective. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. This is not a solicitation.
