Notice Type: Special Notice Synopsis: The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System (SLVHCS) intends to award a sole-source firm fixed price contract to Heritage Health Solutions, Inc. (DUNS 833174340), 300 Parker SQ Suite 210, Flower Mound, TX 75028 for the following services: Urgent and Emergent Medication. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302-5, Authorized or Required by Statute PL 109-461. The estimated cost of this contract is $192,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 624230 with a size standard of $32.5 million for this procurement. The expected award date for this contract is on or about April 17th, 2018. The Contractor shall dispense prescription medications for patients served by the medical center and the (7) seven Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) during urgent and emergent situations where SLVHCS and/or its CBOCs and internal pharmacies may be unavailable due to natural or manmade disasters as well as, first-fill pharmacy services for patients with an urgent or emergency need for medication. This notice is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOI), proposals, or quotations and no solicitation will be issued. The government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice; however, contractors who disagree with this action may submit a letter of interest that demonstrates your firm s technical expertise, certifications, and authorization to compete for this acquisition to include a rationale for why you should be considered. Responses shall be received no later than 7 calendar days after the posting of this notice and shall be submitted via e-mail only to Leslie Robinson, Contracting Officer, [email protected]. No telephone inquiries will be accepted and phone calls will not be returned. Responses received will be evaluated. However, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement (based on the responses received to this notice) is solely within the discretion of the Government.
