PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The Alexandria VA Health Care System, Alexandria, LA and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) has a need for Registered Nurses to cover The contractor shall be notified by the Alexandria VA Health Care System, Alexandria, LA, Patient Care Services when nursing personnel are required. The contractor shall provide resumes for the required personnel within twenty-four (24) hours of notification or as quickly as possible. Registered Nurses (RNs) need to work 80 hours a pay period on the 0645 1515, 1545-0015, 2245-0715, 0645-1915, 1845-0715, 0700-1530, 0730-1600, 0800-1630 tours of duty. The areas to be covered are: The Community Living Center (CLC), Mental Health (Inpatient/Outpatient), Acute/Inpatient, Ambulatory Health, Education, Operating Room/PACU (Recovery Room), Urgent Care Clinic (UCC), COVID Units, Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). Note: Period of Performance for base and each option year is based on a six (6) month period, effective date and end date may change depending on when award will be made but will be based on a six (6) month period. Contractor s personnel shall be subject to the quality assurance standards established by the Joint Commission and shall perform in accordance with ethical, professional and technical standards of the healthcare industry consistent with VA policy, regulations, procedures and protocol. This acquisition is being procured as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses set aside utilizing FSS/GSA Supply Schedules, applicable NAICS code 561320 Temporary Help Services, size standard $27.5M.
