INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE The Network Contracting Officer (NCO) 12, Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) is intending to issue a sole source contract for Hemodialysis and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) services on behalf of the William S. Middleton VA Hospital (VAH) located at 2500 Overlook Terrace, Madison, WI 53705 to the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics (UWHC), 600 Highland Avenue, Madison, WI 53792. This acquisition is conducted under 38 U.S.C. 513 and under the authority of FAR 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The resultant contract will consist of a five-year ordering period with an anticipated award date of May 1, 2024. Dialysis services are required for Veterans 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days per year to include holidays at the Madison VA Hospital. The UWHC will provide a pool of qualified Registered Nurses, all dialysis equipment, dialysis supplies and pharmaceuticals. This notice is NOT a request for competitive quotes.
