The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is to conduct market research to obtain knowledge of potential qualified offerors interested and capable of providing Physician Emergency Room Services, with the ability to meet the requirements of a resulting solicitation. The North American Classification System (NAICS) Code 621493 with a size standard of $16.5 Million. The Hampton VA Medical Center located in Hampton, VA. The Contractor shall have enough Board Certified and/or Board eligible ER physicians who are properly credentialed and have active adjudicated background checks and can meet the operation requirements described in this Performance Work Statement. Eight (8) Emergency Medicine Physicians and three (3) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistants who are Board Certified and /or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine to work in the Emergency Medicine at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Hampton, 100 Emancipation Drive in Hampton, Virginia 24153. ER Physicians Services will be needed Monday Sunday, 7:00 am 7:00 pm, Monday Sunday, 7:00 pm 7:00 am, Monday Friday, 11:00am 11:00pm, Monday Friday 8:00am 4:30pm. Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Services will be needed Monday Friday 6:00am 4:00pm, Monday Friday 12:00pm 10:00pm, Monday Friday 4:00pm 2:00am, Saturday and Sunday 11:00am 11:00pm. This will include all Holiday coverage (Ten Federal Holidays). It is the VA intention to negotiate and award on a competitive basis. No formal solicitation document exists currently.
