PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center, Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, Fayetteville, Arkansas, has a need for personnel to provide services necessary to perform on-site Anatomical and Clinical Pathology Services to eligible beneficiaries, in accordance with all terms, conditions, provision and the schedule of the solicitation. The Contractor shall propose one Pathologist to be submitted and credentialed to ensure operational hours and workload is covered to be credentialed and be available for scheduling to meet the requirements of the contract. The physician shall provide comprehensive pathology services covering Anatomical and Clinical Pathology (including but not limited to: Surgical Pathology, Cytology, and Autopsy Service). In addition, this includes all work associated with interpretations, blood smears, surgical gross, surgical pathology, consultation slides, frozen sections and autopsies/autopsy blocks. The physician shall also provide services covering Clinical Pathology to include On Call for Blood Bank. The position is for a Board-Certified Anatomical and Clinical Pathologist. This acquisition is being procured as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses set aside, applicable NAICS code 621111 (Office of Physicians except mental health specialist) Pulmonology Services, size standard $12M. Solicitation to be available on or about 23 August 2021 with proposals due approximately 30 days from the issue date, 3:30 pm central time.
