The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas is performing market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources relative to NAICS 561320, Temporary Help Services with a size standard of $30 Million, that can provide onsite locum tenens licensed, board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist services to eligible beneficiaries of the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center (hereinafter referred to as MEDVAMC). Services shall be provided on site at MEDVAMC, 2002 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX, 77030 or at any of its nine (9) Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) locations:

Description: Government seeks contractor to provide onsite Psychiatrist services at Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center (hereinafter referred to as MEDVAMC). Services shall be provided on site at MEDVAMC, 2002 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX, 77030 or at any of its nine (9) Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) locations (hereinafter referred to as VAMC):
This requirement will provide a total of 3.0 (5928 hours per year) Full Time Equivalent (FTE) onsite Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist services. Period of performance will be a base of one (1) year with four (4) one (1) year options.
Background: Prior to issuing a solicitation, and pursuant to the Veterans First Contracting Program, the VA is trying to ascertain if there are any qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) with the capability of providing the above services: (Respondents are not limited to SDVOSB/VOSB concerns; the Government seeks to identify all potentially interested sources).

If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements.
