The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to procure on a limited-competitive basis thirty-two (32) Quick Engine Change/Engine Buildup Dollies, P/N 200-000-101, NSN 1740-00-106-8512 for the C-130 Program. These dollies will require a 160 days delivery. The Dolly is a 4-wheeled, towed vehicle incorporating hand-lever operated cable controlled brakes, leveling jacks ad pneumatic tires. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, KWD Aircraft Support Equipment and Knight Aerospace Products are considered the only responsible sources to perform this effort. The Government does not possess the technical data rights and drawings for this support equipment. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
