The Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) is establishing a Qualified Suppliers List of Distributors (QSLD) for items in Federal Supply Classes (FSCs) 5961 and 5962, which will become effective on or about August 1, 2009. Once the QSLD becomes effective, in order to receive an award for these items in FSC 5961 or FSC 5962, a distributor must be qualified for, and listed on, the QSLD for these FSCs. There will be no further notification. If the QSLD clause for FSCs 5961 and 5962 appears in a solicitation, only the following sources will be eligible for award: 1. Sources that are listed, or are qualified for listing, on the applicable Qualified Products List/Qualified Manufacturers List (QPL/QML) at the time of award, or 2. Approved sources as specified in the solicitation/contract Item Description, or 3. Distributors that are listed, or qualified for listing, on the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) Qualified Supplies List of Distributors (QSLD) at the time of award.
