THIS IS A MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATION ONLY.  THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPISIS.  NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS.  THE PURPOSE OF THIS SYNOPSIS IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.). 1.  The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis seek vendors capable to provide the following items for the Edwards AFB Test Mission:

General and specific Requirements

1)  Quasonix Telemetric Transmitter, Part # QSX-VQR2-1110-10-04-07BK-VP, 

Requirements for the Quasonix Telemetry Transmitter are as follows:

- Variable Rate, auto-scaling of deviation and filter BW

  Tuning in 0.5 MHz steps

- RS-422 clock and data interface, 120 ohms differential

- RS-232 serial control interface, 57,600 baud rate

- ARTM Tier 0 (PCM/FM), 0.05 - 14 Mbps

- ARTM Tier I (SOQPSK-TG), 0.1 - 28 Mbps

- ARTM Tier II (Multi-h CPM), 0.1 - 28 Mbps

- RF Output: 10 Watts (+40 dBm minimum)

- Pin Out Configuration

2)  Quasonix Rack Mount Chassis/Enclosure, Part # QSX-4TX2U-EN, 

    Requirements for the rack mount chassis (enclosure) are as follows:

- 110 VAC power connection

- RJ-45 Ethernet connector

- isolated BNC connectors for clock

- isolated BNC connectors for data

- N connectors for RF output

- Web interface

- SSH command line

- RESTful API

These units requested have to fit and form compatible with with the current units being utitlized by the system developer (CDSI Inc.) 

2.  Information requested:

    The Government requests interested offerors that can fully support this requirement furnish the following information:

 A.  Company name, address, points of contact, phone numbers and e-mail addresses.

 B.   Information should include a brief description of experience in providing the type of support   described above. Please include contract references relating to research and engineering expertise to include: contract number; agency supported, period of performance, original contract value, and Point of Contact (POC) with current phone number. The information package must be clear, concise, and complete. The Air Force is under no obligation to provide feedback to the company, or to contact the company for clarification of any information submitted in response to this request.

C. Identification of business size (small or large) and identify the socioeconomic disadvantaged category, as defined the Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 19 and also currently listed in the System for Award Management (SAM). Small business size standards are published by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and may be found www.sba.gov/size/sizetable2002.html. The potential North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes assigned to this procurement is 334511, “Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Facilities Support Services Manufacturing.”  The Small Business Size Standard is 1,250 employee.
