Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army Natick Contracting Division, 1 Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the United States Army-Soldier Systems Center, Natick, MA intends to negotiate and award a contract on a sole source basis with Karen Thompson Bullock of 18 N Main St, West Brookfield, MA, as Assistant Project Officer in support of the Armed Forces Recipe Service (AFRS), whom will be reviewing for accuracy and making any necessary corrections to 1700 AFRS recipes in MS Word format. Karen Bullock has prior experience working for the Armed Forces Recipe Service as a Food Technologist and Registered Dietitian. Karen Bullock has a vast knowledge of the principles of food as it pertains to food science; the standards of procedure involved in standardizing quantity recipes; culinary skills; technical, editorial and scientific writing experience; and holds a 5 year Certification (2008-2013) as a Food Safety Manager by the National Restaurant Association, very necessary for this type of work.
