Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award sole source contracts to BAE, PCI and TSC to continue the current Surface Combatant Combat Systems Engineering support for TICONDEROGA Class Cruisers (CG 47) and ARLEIGH BURKE Class Destroyers (DDG 51). This includes engineering for air defense, AEGIS baselines, new radar development, non-Aegis Weapons Systems elements, support for new ship procurement and availability on in-service ships, and resolution of waterfront issues. These contracts will be utilized until a competitive contract(s) is awarded. A competition for these efforts will take place under the NAVSEA SeaPort program.
