The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City intends to issue a sole source contract to Raytheon, 1847 West Main Road, Portsmouth, Rhode Island for engineering services, upgrades, and repair of the AN/AQS-20A Minehunting Sonar System. Raytheon is the original equipment manufacturer and the only source of the AN/AQS-20A mine hunting sonar system. As such, only Raytheon has the expertise, technical data, equipment, and experienced personnel to successfully engineer and complete the towed body upgrades and repair the system. The period of performance will be one year from date of contract award. The Government will deliver and pick up the equipment at the contractor’s facility. NAICS code 541330 applies and the size standard is $23M average annual receipts. Numbered Note 22 applies.
