The US Army TACOM-ARDEC intends to award on a sole source basis to Tetra Tech Inc. the requirement for Archeological Survey and UXO Surface Clearance Associated with Picatinny's Enhanced Use Leasing Project. Tetra Tech EM Inc. has been working closely with the Business Interface Office over the past two years to prepare the necessary NEPA documentation (Environmental Assessments, Environmental Baseline Studes, Finding of Suitability to Lease documents, etc.) to support Picatinny's overall Enhanced Use Leasing project. The archeological survey and UXO surface clearance are critical elelments required to support the completion of the Environmental Assessment Tetra Tech is currently preparing for the initial 15-20 acre development in the front part of the Arsenal. Tetra Techh is the only known contractor with the requisite knowledge of Picatinny's EUL project and the Installations Cultural Resource Management Plan necessary to successfully accomplish the required archeological survey and UXO tasks in a timely manner to assure that the overall EA for the initial EUL build out is completed by Feb 06.
