The Alaska District Corps of Engineers intends to award a sole source purchase order to Broutman Associates, Chevy Chase, MD for assistance in the review of cost and pricing data submitted by contractors in response to solicitation W911KB-04-R-0008, Communications Follow-on, Replacement Bassett Army Community Hospital (BACH), Ft. Wainwright, Alaska. The firm will also review and evaluate technical data during contract negotiations to determine compliance with RFP requirements. The firm must be famili ar with the details of the design documents related to the above solicitation. The use of Broutman Associates is essential as they are the designer of record for the IM/IT Communications and Information Management Systems (a.k.a. Telecommunications Systems ) and the use of any other firm could result in unacceptable delays to the Bassett Hospital completion as well as significant lost effort. The NAICS Code applicable to this procurement is 541990 with a small business size of $6M.
