The government intends on awarding a sole source acquisition to Trustees of Dartmouth College for entrepreneurial training for Native Americans. The Office of Indian Energy and Economic Development (IEED) has a requirement to assist Native Americans in creating an ownership society in which wealth is created, retained and reinvested in the local economies to provide self-sufficiency and sustainable revenue streams. IEED has developed a partnership with Dartmouth which included the development of a curriculum and training to enhance and accelerate development of Native American entrepreneurial businesses, and addresses some of the unique characteristics and challenges related to working in Indian country. This is a continuation of that curriculum, with a requirement for four classes to be presented at various locations during FY 2009 .
