Work under this acquisition will examine and evaluate the effect of MEP services on two distinct but interrelated dimensions:
-the economic performance (measured in terms of productivity (value added per employee)), output (sales) and employment change); and
-the survival of U.S. based manufacturing establishments.
This project will compare the outcomes of MEP clients to non-clients, controlling for other factors including selection bias.
The NAICS code for this requirement is 541990 with a small business size standard of $7.0 million. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be shall be utilized under the authority of FAR SubPart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commerical Items. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. A firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated.
