The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center Fort Knox intents to issue a sole source Six month extension of task order W912SU-05-D-0005-0006 in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
The U.S. Army is undergoing rapid transformation due to the Modular Force design, the Army Force Generation Model, and lessons learned from Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. This requirement is for the execution of training support development associated with these changes. There is a need to develop/review/revise Quartermaster Corps (QM), Transportation Corps (TC), and Ordnance Corps (OD) System Training Plans (STRAPs) and Training Aids Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) requirements.
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
