The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) seeks to increase the current level of effort under contract with Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH), the current contractor for contract number PBGC01-CT-03-0681. The contract includes the maintenance of the documents developed during the Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) effort such as functional specifications and process models and to conduct independent validation and verification (IV&V) of the Premium Practitioner System (PPS) currently being developed and implemented under a separate contract. The increase in the level of effort will allow BAH to complete work already tasked to them under the contract based on the new delivery schedule of PPS. It is PBGC's belief that the provider possess' the unique qualifications required to continue to perform the requirements of the contract, since all of the tasks identified are currently performed by the provider. This modification will ensure continuity of work and timeliness of delivery. This is not a request for proposal. See Note 22.
