Security services are required to prevent loss or injury to U.S. personnel, dependents, property; destruction of assets; to prevent unauthorized access; and deter potential terrorist attacks. Duties will include, but not be limited to, restricting entry of unauthorized personnel, operation of walk-through metal detectors, hand-held detectors, electronic and hydraulic barriers and surveillance by motor patrol.
This requirement will be an 8(a) Competitive Set Aside. The Government plans to award up to one contract. Anticipated period of performance is one base year and four one-year options at the discretion of the Government. The estimated number of annual hours for guard services at this location is 114,840 hours. These requirements may change depending on the requirements set forth by the Embassy.
Individual contractor personnel must be cleared prior to working on this contract. All Contracted personnel, regardless of nationality, will be required to pass a background investigation conducted by the Contractor and a separate background investigation conducted by the U.S. Government to certify their suitability for employment under this contract.
Each guard/key personnel must possess a Level 2 language proficiency, which requires an ability to speak English with sufficient structural accuracy and vocabulary to participate effectively in most formal and informal conversations on practical, social, and professional topics.
