This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation Number NCND6000-5-00058pj is issued as a request for quotation. The NAICS Code is 541430. This procurement action is set aside for small business concerns. A firm is a small business for the purpose of this requirement if its size standard is $6 million.The Heritage Week Committee requires the services of a contractor who can perform the following tasks in the short time frame allotted. 1) The contractor shall provide a âfreshenedâ 2006 Treasures of NOAAâs Ark exhibit design for the week of February 6-10 2006 2) The contractor shall build or assemble the actual exhibit on site at NOAAâs campus in Silver Spring, Maryland and at Nauticus in Virginia 3) The contractor shall assist in the concept, design, and provide guidance during the construction phase, give recommendations for artifact placement and presentation for a semi-permanent exhibit at Nauticus which builds on the 2005 Heritage Week Treasures of NOAAâs Ark exhibition. 4) The contractor shall recommend, design, or produce information materials specific to enhancing the Heritage Week experience for NOAA employees and the community at large. An RFQ and accompanying Statement of Work entitled NOAA Heritage Week 2006 Exhibition and Related Outreach Activities dated August 10, 2005, are attached to this posting.
