The Army Contracting Command - National Capital Region (ACC-NCR) intends to exercise W74V8H-06-D-0022 contract clause FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services to the current contract holder, Enterprise Management Information Inc (EIM), 1655 Ft. Myer Drive, Suite 500, Arlington, VA 22209. The contract currently supports the Army Publishing Directorate, Forms Content Management Program (FCMP); which supports the Enterprise Content Management Services (ECMS). ECMS is responsible for managing the Army departmental publications and electronic publishing process, including the life-cycle management of departmental forms in accordance with AR 25-30. The Government will negotiate directly with EIM on a sole source basis under FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is being posted since this option falls under FAR 52.217-8 was not previously evaluated as part of the initial contract award W74V8H-06-D-0022. This option exercise will be at the current rates specified in the current contract, as allowed by FAR 52.217-8, and will extend the period of performance end date from September 29, 2011 to March 29, 2012. This option exercise will further allow for a competitive procurement to be accomplished and to allow for a transition of services to a potential new contractor. EIM is the only responsible offeror for exercise of this option, as the Government would unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements if this option was not exercised before the current contract expiration date.
