VA Health Administration Center (HAC) seeks to purchase managerial/technical consulting work for the purpose of educating HAC staff and developing implementation specifications for these PPS reimbursement systems: Home Health Prospective Payment Systems (PPS), Outpatient Prospective Payment System, and Rehabilitation Prospective Payment System. The consultant will facilitate the HAC with implementation of these reimbursement systems by reviewing current payment systems, current claims processing screens, and current data capture and developing written specifications for modification of the claims processing system and claims processing screens. The desired outcome is that HAC programming staff will have the specifications necessary to implement the same PPS system as described in the Federal Regulations for the Department of Defense, TRICARE program and/or Medicare program.
