The US Fish and Wildlife Service, National Conservation Training Center (NCTC) in Shepherdstown, WV has identified the need for instruction in the fields of modeling and structured decision making in natural resources conservation. NCTC is soliciting the services of an instructor to provide training and guidance in the NCTC owned introductory Principles of Modeling for Conservation Planning and Analysis course (ECS3149) and follow-up workshop titled Rapid Prototyping Workshop (ECS3159). The sessions will be participant centered, oriented to skills application, and interactive along with lectures. There is expected to be three (3) sessions each of the course and workshop during the year for a total six (6) sessions with four option years containing approximately six (6) sessions per year.
